The Best Golf Courses in the West Midlands

The West Midlands has an abundance of absolute standout golf courses. However and because of the vast wealth of "stay and play" venues in the West Midlands, we find this to be one of the most popular destinations for golf breaks in England that we offer.

The West Midlands area is located in a primarily lowlands area which geographically provides a vast array of landscapes. Covered by sandstones, clays, and subsurface coal; identified by the plateaued area surrounding Birmingham. Climate-wise, the region alternates between milder and wetter weather in the west and drier and colder weather in the east. The long-distance from the sea, the area experiences a broader spectrum of weather conditions. Birmingham, for instance, has one of the most extreme yearly temperature swings in the country, with comparatively high summer and low winter temperatures. Summer Golf in the West Midlands, therefore, is an absolute joy. Conversely, the wetter months are less optimal for golfers.
